“If God transformed my life, He can certainly transform anyone’s life.”

What was your life like before you found Jesus, and how did you come to hear the Gospel?

I think every young person goes through some kind of conflict, and I was searching for something within myself.

But I really started going down the path of friendships, bad friendships, and drugs.

And the more I tried to fill something inside me, the more I was actually becoming empty.

And I also thank God for my mother and my grandmother, who prayed for me.

And God never gave up on me either. He was there, influencing other people who knew Him to bring the Gospel to me.

Then I went to work at a workshop, and my boss was a Christian. He loved God. He would gather everyone together, pray, read the Bible, and one day he invited me to church. I believe that, for me, it was a divine invitation.

Because the first time I went to church, it wasn’t because I was looking for God. I went because he invited me.

And I went once, then again, until the Word of God began to penetrate my heart, breaking down my paradigms and breaking through all the traumas I had.

Was there a particular moment or Bible verse that changed your life?

Until one day, I came to understand something from God for my life, which was

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

romans 5:8

That verse had such a huge impact on my life that I decided to give my life to Jesus.

And in every evangelism event, every meeting where I had the opportunity to share, I would talk about this verse. And every time I shared it, my heart would be filled with such great joy.

I thought, “If God loved me and He spared no effort, how am I going to show my love for Him now?”

I started thinking this way: “What can I do for God now?”

And I understood that I should study the Bible.

So I entered a three-year residential seminary to study the Bible. And I thought, “If one verse had such a huge impact on my life, imagine if I really immersed myself and went deeper into the Word of God.”

And I began to discover that we are called to love God with all our heart, with all our strength, and with all our understanding, and also to win souls.

So that conviction led me to decide to live my life now, 100% dedicated to God, because God transformed my life.

The Word of God can transform anyone.

How is your faith expressed through your life today?

So I feel incredibly blessed by God, because He really transformed me from that young man who lived a life filled with completely unbalanced emotions, and now He has given me a wife.

I have three wonderful children, and I have been in ministry for 19 years.

Also, by the goodness and mercy of God, I have been working with surfing and Jiu-Jitsu, where it has become my pulpit. I preach the Gospel to my church in the ocean and on the mat.

I want other people to see Christ in me. I want to reflect Christ to them.

I believe that if God transformed my life, He can certainly transform anyone’s life.

Maybe you feel far from God. Maybe you feel hopeless, without expectation for the future.

But I want to tell you: God has not given up on you.

God is seeking your soul.

May God bless you, and you can be sure of this:

The best decision a person can make is to live for God.
